Me
My name is Simon Mitchell, I was born in 1963 (blimey, that’s a long time ago) in good old
London England. I’ve always wanted to travel. I knew that as soon as the first chance occurred I’d be on my way.
In 1983 it happend in the form of a two year expat contract in of all places Saudi Arabia.
From there I did a short stint in Vancouver , finally ending up in Europe, in one of the most beautiful & fun loving Countries to live in, Vienna, Austria. That’s not just my opinion it’s also official by the way.
Now quite a few years on & here I am, happily Austrianised & happily married. So what was the big issue? Well I realised I needed to follow my dream, I figured something was missing and I needed to figure it out what. Like a piece in a jigsaw puzzle, I need that piece to
understand the picture.
India with its cultures, spices, foods & tea’s has always been the Asian Country that I most yearned to explore.
I also knew that a 2-3 week packaged holiday would never do me, or the Country justice.
So there it was, I had my destination ”India” & my starting point Vienna, and all that gooey bit in the middle turned out to be the most amazing journey, yes it was the journey of a lifetime.
